Premier Proofing includes all the above plus correct and consistent use of language, clarity, adherence to established style and format, and professional appearance. (Think copy editing.) To illustrate the difference between the proofreading options, let’s say you bought an old desk at a yard sale. You can dust it and polish it before using it, or you can dust it, strip the old finish, fill in the cracks, sand, stain, seal, and polish it and THEN use it. It all depends on your end use.
